First Cat Toy for Fritz / Le Premier Jouet de Fritz

The best decision of my life was adopting Fritz back in August 2012. I, of course, crocheted him a little cat toy to celebrate the occasion. It is a quick and simple crochet project.

Cat's scratch-post / Le Griffoir du Chat

This is one of my earlier projects. I was cat sitting and decided to fix up the scratch-post. It went from being ignored to being a favorite at playtime.

I initially picked up a crochet hook in order to keep busy during long winter evenings. I made the jump into knitting when I came across beautiful patterns that I just had to make. I am proud to say that I am self taught and what was a hobby is now a passion. I now have a yarn addiction and need more storage space!

I have a wonderful little helper, Fritz, who doesn't touch any yarn, thread, WIPs, or  'mess' I leave lying around. He does assist with blocking and acts as a weight to ensure it is done right.

I make items from patterns I find on the throughout the Internet, and I also create my own designs and custom requests. There are some very talented artist out there with amazing patterns that deserve recognition. I promise to share any and all beautiful creations I find.
